Description
An upgraded filter set for your Air Dog lift pump. CAT does not offer a water separator filter small enough to fit on this lift pump. A premium Donaldson water separator filter is included with the CAT particulate filter.
Why CAT?
The benefit comes from the size and structural integrity of the filter. On the outside, CAT uses a very thick casing compared to other companies, to resist punctures. The way the filtering media is held inside the filter is also upgraded. CAT uses a thin nylon woven strap glued and secured around the entire filter. This means you will never have to worry about the pleats collapsing inside of the filter and restricting fuel flow.
NOTE: You will have to slightly modify your lift pump to accept the larger CAT filter. The 2 corners of the mounting bracket may have to be ground back and the plastic filter retainers on the bottom of the lift pump need to be removed. Once those 2 simple modifications are made, your CAT filter will spin right on!
