Using the new MDDP filter nipple on your factory oil filter assembly, you can run the CAT 1R-1807 filter, giving you best filtration on the market utilizing the factory oil filter location. With this kit you can add a whole extra QUART to your oil capacity making it 11 quarts! Being a 10% increase in oil capaicy means a 10% longer oil service interval.
NOTE: This will NOT FIT 2020+ L5P TRUCKS due to the smaller filter housing change.
THE FILTRATION ADVANTAGE
The Cat 1R-1807 filter starts at 4 microns @ 20% efficiency and at 20 microns at 100% efficiency. On top of filtration it has about THREE times more filtering media. The Cat media is 2.11 times longer and the pleats are 1.13 deeper making the Cat filters area 2.39x larger than the factory ACDelco filter media.

Ordered this filter kit for my 2016 Duramax. Fitament was perfect and so far no issues. Oil pressure is identical with stock ACDelco filter. Product arrived promptly and safe.

So I am just gonna say WOW. Not only is the filter bigger than I originally thought I'm very pleased with how it was all packaged. I love the Keychain I got with it and I like supporting businesses that leave notes thanking me, like no thank you for being out there and offering these goods and services to people like me. I would have never heard of mddp if it wasn't for truck master on YouTube. Again Thanks for the fast shipping and good packaging, cannot wait to install and get this sticker on my truck. I got this filter upgrade for my 16 LML and it fit perfectly! If I had found this sooner I would have put it on the first oil change. Would highly recommend!

This is a great upgrade I’ve worked on ag and construction equipment for 20+ years I have never seen oil come out of a diesel so clean as with this filter. I’m running 18000+ miles and oil still looks like it came out of a gas engine with 5000 miles on it
